Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get tickets to official Inaugural events?
- The Inauguration swearing-in ceremony will be held at the U.S. Capitol on Monday, January 20, and is managed by the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCIC). Members of Congress receive a limited set of viewing area tickets to distribute, most of which are for a standing area.
- We recommend contacting your Member of Congress to request tickets!
- If you do not receive a ticket, visitors can still view the Inaugural ceremonies from many locations on the National Mall where tickets are not required.
Can I bring more than four guests?
Please contact Heritage Events. We'll do our best to accommodate your guests.
Where can I park near Heritage?
Road access will be limited throughout Washington, D.C. We do not recommend driving and encourage you to walk, bike, or use the Metro.
What is the suggested attire?
Attire for both days of the Open House is casual.
