Pinehurst may be the Home of American Golf, but it's home to so much more! Rich with historical treasures, fine dining, shopping, and entertainment, there is a little something for everyone to enjoy.
Heritage will offer a few organized optional activities during the day when other guests will be golfing. More information will be available on these activities soon! In the meantime, check out a few highlights of things you can partake in on your own while in the area.
Lawn Sports
The classic games of croquet and lawn bowling are alive and vibrant lawn sports at Pinehurst Resort. The site of many national and international lawn bowls and croquet tournaments, Pinehurst continues to draw the best in the sport to their immaculate greens. Run, Walk & Bike
Explore miles of historic homes and scenic streets on one of Pinehurst Resort's complimentary bicycles, or take a historic walking tour of The Village and Resort. Pinehurst also offers 4 walking trails that are anywhere from 1 mile to 4.6 miles. Visit the Resort Services desk for more information.
Lake Pinehurst
Boat, fish, swim, and sunbathe on their private 200-acre lake. You may take a complementary short shuttle from The Village of Pinehurst to the lake. The lake features a beach area with umbrellas, chairs, and cabanas. Available rentals include kayaks, pontoon boats, rods, and tackle.
Spa
The Spa at Pinehurst is designed to wrap you in complete tranquility. Settle in for the day and soothe your mind, body, and soul. Featured treatments include massage therapy, facials, body treatments, nail care, and cryotherapy. For more information, click here.
Pool
Pinehurst Resort offers two pools for resort guests! The Carolina Hotel West Lawn pool is open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily and features a heated pool, kiddie pool, misting pool, fireplace, and outdoor whirlpool. Holly Inn Pool is open 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily and features a more private experience.
Tennis
Pinehurst Resort is home to 16 clay tennis courts, a full-service tennis shop, and a full staff of USPTA and PTR certified professional instructors. As a guest, you can enjoy access to all club amenities including ball machine, equipment, and court rentals. Visit the Tennis Shop for more information.
Village of Pinehurst
A replica of a quaint, turn-of-the-century New England village made for strolling and offering an array of fascinating specialty shops, galleries, and restaurants.
